How it works to keep your margins intact automatically

From cost data to price floor in 30 minutes or less

Your costs flow in automatically

Connect a partner integration like SkuVault, Linnworks, Finale, Sellercloud, Flxpoint, SureDone, or SellerCloud. Or host your cost data via FTP, CSV, Google Sheets, or manual upload. Flashpricer pulls your product costs every 30 minutes. When a cost changes in your inventory system, Flashpricer knows within the next sync cycle.

1

Min and max prices get auto-calculated

Choose how Flashpricer sets your pricing boundaries. Calculate by ROI, profit margin, or fixed profit. We'll automatically adjust your targets as costs move. Or set min/max manually per SKU. Every method factors in your actual item cost plus marketplace fees — FBA, WFS, FBM shipping, and referral fees included.

2

MAP compliance runs if you need it

Flashpricer uses the greater of your MAP or your calculated minimum as the price floor. If MAP is $100 but your cost-based min is $90, we enforce $100. If MAP is $80 but your min is $85, we enforce $85. You can set MAP prices through the UI, bulk upload, or your integration feed. It only applies to products with a MAP value assigned.

3

We catch problems before they start

We send email alerts when a product's cost changes by more than 50% and the absolute shift exceeds $20, catching data errors before they blow up your calculations. Products with missing costs display a badge so you know they need attention. And if your integration connection breaks, you get a reminder to reconnect before the next sync.

Why margins leak and how Flashpricer plugs the gaps

Flashpricer puts profit protection above all else

Never sell below your cost again

When your cost data syncs directly from your inventory system, your price floor moves with it. A supplier raises your cost? Within 30 minutes, we recalculate your min price to reflect the new number. You never have to worry about selling for a loss.

A slow repricer is a margin killer

Competing repricers can take over 25 minutes to enforce a newly updated min price. We detect changes within seconds and pushes price updates in under 4 minutes. Every minute your repricer doesn't react is a minute you're exposed.

Avoid unexpected listing deactivation

Avoid getting listings taken down for pricing errors. Sync your Flashpricer min/max to Seller Central once, set comfortably wide ranges on Amazon's side, and let us enforce the real thresholds. Listings stay active, and previously deactivated items relist.

Raise your price when there is opportunity

Profit protection is also about capturing upside. Flashpricer can raise your price toward the next competitor when you're in the Buy Box. Combined with algorithms that find the highest price that still holds the Buy Box, your prices trend up.

Common questions about profit protection

How fast does Flashpricer react when I update a minimum price?

Flashpricer detects min/max changes within seconds and pushes the updated price to the marketplace in under 4 minutes. In a live comparison test, a competing repricer took over 25 minutes to enforce a newly updated minimum — continuing to sell below the floor the entire time. Every minute of delay is margin exposure.

Will Flashpricer ever price below my minimum?

No. Flashpricer enforces your min price as an absolute floor. The system will never push a price outside the parameters you've set. That's why it's important to sync your Flashpricer min/max boundaries with Amazon Seller Central — wide ranges on Amazon's side (like $0.01 to $1,000) prevent pricing errors, while Flashpricer enforces your real thresholds within that range.

How does MAP compliance work in Flashpricer?

When the MAP setting is enabled in a strategy and a product has a MAP price assigned, Flashpricer uses the greater of your MAP or your calculated minimum as the price floor. So if your MAP is $100 but your cost-based min is $90, Flashpricer won't go below $100. If your MAP is $80 but your cost-based min is $85, Flashpricer won't go below $85. You can set MAP values via the UI, bulk upload, or through your integration feed.

Q: What happens if my cost data has an error?

Flashpricer monitors for suspicious cost changes. If a product's cost shifts by more than 50% and the absolute change exceeds $20, you'll get an email alert so you can verify it before the new number flows into your pricing. Products missing cost data entirely are flagged with a "Missing Cost" badge and won't have min/max prices calculated — so they won't reprice at all until you add a cost.

How often do costs sync from my inventory system?

Every 30 minutes, automatically. Flashpricer supports partner integrations with SkuVault, Linnworks, Finale Inventory, Sellercloud, Flxpoint, and SureDone. You can also sync costs via FTP, Hosted CSV, Google Sheets, or manual upload. When a cost changes in your source system, Flashpricer picks it up at the next 30-minute sync and recalculates your min/max prices immediately.

How does Flashpricer calculate my minimum and maximum prices?

You choose the method. Calculate by ROI (e.g., 20% min ROI), by Profit Margin (e.g., 20% min margin), or by Fixed Profit (e.g., $15 min profit per sale). Each method takes your synced product cost, adds marketplace fees (referral fees, FBA/WFS/FBM fulfillment fees), and solves for the selling price that hits your target. You can also set min and max prices manually per SKU or upload them in bulk.
